Hype badge helps a deviation get boosted to a larger audience. I prefer doing things organically but since DA's new search algorithm f*cked us nsfw artists over real good I think I can allow myself to indulge a bit and make good use of this badge to help recover my audience reach that has been but steadily deteriorating of late owing to the new change in algorithm. So here's the the plan my friends:- Give a hype badge and get a hype badge in return. Both parties will benefit. I give away free core memberships almost every week to numerous artists whose works I come to like so rewarding hype badges wouldn't be a big deal for me either. Honestly, this badge right now could prove to be more useful than a diamond badge the way I see it. DA search wants me gone
So I took a few ss (click on the journal title in case you don't see them) to explain just how effed up the new DA algorithm is or at least how it is a hot mess for thousands of watchers and artists alike. It doesn't matter if you type the exact same title along with the artist name in this case me or just how many likes or engagement the work in question has garnered in order to qualify for visibility under the "popular this century" or under even the general filter, unless and until your work has NOT been posted years ago or last year at best it won't get the organic visibility it deserves. SO basically NO MATTER HOW MUCH FAVORITED your recent work is it WON'T SHOW UP unless and until you change the filter to Most recent. Now when you do that and if the subject matter/character/title happens to be highly popular, expect your post to start getting buried under a heap of other recent posts within a couple of days to the point it has gone beyond the threshold of everyone's patience to
DeviantArt search result issue : Very concerning
I've been getting lesser and lesser engagement on my submissions since the beginning of this month so I kinda checked what's going on and it seems like it's DeviantArt's new algorithm?? Okay, first off they have removed the 'recommended for you' filter and now the 'popular this century' is the first and foremost filter which gives you results which you may or may not find desirable. Not only that, irrespective of whether the filter used to be 'Recommended For You' or 'Popular this century', title search or tag search, most of my recent works always used to be at the top and scattered all around whenever the search used to be on foot slave, barefoot trample, headscissors, ass worship, facesitting, buttcrush, mixed wrestling, femdom, muscle girl domination and other related keyword searches but now you can hardly find any of my fresh works in the search results unless you switch to the 'this month' or 'this week' filter provided I have posted recently. Hell, even if you search by the
